I’m Deborah Cox, an experienced therapist supporting adults and couples through life’s challenges. Together, we can explore ways to build stronger, more fulfilling relationships — with yourself and others — and find greater balance, confidence, and emotional wellbeing. I understand that life can feel overwhelming at times, whether it’s managing debilitating anxiety or depression, loss, or major life transitions. My approach is warm, authentic and non-judgemental, providing a safe space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences, gain clarity, and take positive steps toward the change you want to see in your life.
I offer guidance for a wide range of challenges, including:
This is just an example of the support I provide — every experience is unique, and therapy is tailored to your individual needs.
I offer integrative therapy tailored to your needs, combining techniques from different approaches to suit you as an individual rather than following a one-size-fits-all method. Together, we’ll explore what’s been affecting you and find helpful ways to move forward—whether that’s exploring past events, navigating current issues, or developing coping strategies.
I can also provide pure CBT, which is effective for anxiety, depression, stress, low self-esteem, and other challenges, giving you practical tools to build confidence and feel more empowered in everyday life. We can discuss whether this approach is suitable for you.
As a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) I work within their ethical code of practice.
